Drogheda Port Company has a considerable historical archive dating from 1790 recording its activities for over 200 years. It contains minute books, vessel arrival and departure details, correspondence, maps, engineering reports, photographs drawings and other documentation.

In 1990 a recorded archive was created consisting of interviews with many people associated with the port over the years.

From time to time the archive is made available for study and research purposes.
