The largest ever single cargo shipment was received in Drogheda Port today. The 5,500 tonne cargo of sunflower pellets arrived from the port of Liepaja in Latvia.

The cargo was carried on the MV 'Wilson Tana' one of the largest vessels to have entered the port at over 111 meters in length and a beam of over 18 meters with a draft of 7 meters.

The stevedores for the cargo were Martin Butterly & Co.
