A Drogheda landmark has received a fresh burst of colour thanks to a collaborative community CSR project led by Drogheda Port Company in partnership with local mental health charity SOSAD (Save Our Sons and Daughters).

The 2025 Drogheda Sail Training Bursary Voyages saw a total of 26 young trainees, aged between 14 to 17, embark on transformative weeklong voyages on the beautiful 1929 gaff ketch vessel ‘Maybe’. Under the watchful supervision of Skipper Adam Spargo and his wonderful crew, their journeys took them as far as Scotland and the Isle of Man navigating through a full spectrum of weather conditions that tested their resilience and teamwork..
