Paul Fleming was appointed to the position of Chief Executive of the Drogheda Port Company in 2001 and is ex officio director. Prior to his appointment as CEO he held the position of Financial and Commercial Manager. Paul previously worked in the private sector for swedish company Thorsman in the plastic injection moulding industry.

He is also a director of Fast Terminals (Ireland) Limited and Bremore Ireland Port Limited.


Dr Nino Binns

Nino Binns was appointed to the Board in June 2008. She is currently an independent consultant in nutrition and food regulation following more than 25 years’ experience with international food and ingredient companies. While working for McNeil Nutritionals - a member of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, she was a member of the European management board.

Nino has a PhD in nutrition from the University of London and for 8 years was a visiting Professor in nutrition at the Northern Ireland Centre for Food & Health, University of Ulster at Coleraine in Northern Ireland. A British national, she has lived in Drogheda since 2005 and has a great interest in the town, its history and its development.


Mr Michael Coyle

Michael Coyle was appointed as director in 2002. Michael has worked in logistics for over 30 years as part of the Irish Rail Group during which he operated extensively in Drogheda Port.

Michael is also currently Chairman of the Irish prisons visiting committee and a Peace Commissioner appointed by the Minister for Justice and Law Reform.

Jimmy Cudden was re-appointed to the Drogheda Port Company in 2002 as the Meath County Council representative and serves as an elected public representative in Meath.

Jimmy has been an elected member of Meath County Council for the past 24 years and as a Director\Commissioner to Drogheda Port Company for 17 years.


Mr William Lennon

William Lennon was appointed to the current Board of the company in April 2002 and has been Director/Commissioner on all previous Boards since 1983. He is formerly Managing Director of Patrick Monahan (Drogheda) Limited, a major shipping and stevedoring company in the Port and holds directorship in an associated company. He is a current council member of the Irish Ship's Agent Association of which he was also a past President.

William is a member of the development and pension sub-committees of the Drogheda Port Company.

Gail is the owner of McEvoy & Associates, a Drogheda based firm of Accountants and Business Advisors.  She is also the Managing Director of The Tax Clinic Limited, which has been providing  tax advice since 1987 and continues to provide tax related services in Drogheda for both the self employed and PAYE earner.

She is currently the Vice President of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland.

David Pryor was appointed as a director with Drogheda Port Company Ltd in April 2002.

He has a business and consulting background having worked in the areas of market research, marketing, business planning, project management and strategic planning.

He is a former CEO and Company Secretary with Drogheda Chamber of Commerce.  He was also Member of Chambers of Commerce of Ireland (CCI) Transport Policy Committee. David worked as a Strategy Development Officer with Fingal Development Board. 

David is an active member and participant on the Development, Pension and Audit Sub Committees in Drogheda Port Company since 2003.

He is also involved in policy submission preparatory work on behalf of the Board.
