Mr Gerard Deegan, Chairperson of Drogheda Port Company
Gerard was appointed as the Chairperson of Drogheda Port Company in 2023 and as a Director in November 2018. He is an experienced professional practitioner in the port shipping and transportation sector. He was the Operations Manager of Container Terminal Services, Port of Cork and Owner/Principal of Tuskar Shipping Agencies. He was appointed Land Transportation Operations Manager Ireland for Bell Lines Shipping & Transport and has been engaged as SME for the evaluation of EU funded Maritime Projects and as SME for Irish Aid Funded UNCTAD Port Training and Development Programme . He was appointed a Non-Executive Director of Royal Liver Assurance and is a Graduate in Total Quality Management, ISO & Quality Auditor, University of Limerick. He is a qualified Registered Assessor Incorporating Subcontractor Control and Assessment and has lectured in Legal Studies & International Trade at Waterford Institute of Technology

Mr Paul Fleming Chief Executive of Drogheda Port Company
Paul was appointed to the position of Chief Executive in 2001 and is ex officio director. He has a degree in cost accountancy and financial management in addition to professional qualifications in marketing and public relations. Prior to his appointment as CEO he held the position of Financial and Commercial Manager in the Company. Paul previously worked in the private sector for Swedish company Thorsman in the plastic injection moulding industry in their financial division. He is also a director of Fast Terminals (Ireland) Limited, Drogheda Port Logistics Limited and Bremore Ireland Port Limited.

Mr Ciarán Callan, Director of Drogheda Port Company
Ciarán CEM LLM was appointed as a Director in October 2018. He has been involved in the shipping and ports industry for many years and also served as the Irish Ports' Representative on the ESPO Sustainable Development Committee. He is a Marine Engineer and certified Energy Manager and holds a LLM in Environmental Law. Ciarán is also a trainer with UNCTAD in the Port Management Training Programme and operates his own consultancy practice.

Shona was appointed as a Director in March 2022. Qualified to MBA, she is a highly respected global recruitment business leader who has been consecutively listed for the Staffing Industry Analysts Top 100 Staffing Professionals in Europe and in the Global Top 100 Women in Recruitment. As CEO and owner of Osborne, her innovative leadership has resulted in the growth and transformation of Osborne into a multi-award-winning international recruitment firm. Under her guidance the organisation has significantly increased its footprint, turnover, profits and headcount, adding numerous prestigious awards to its repertoire. Shona has served as a Vice President for the NRF, President of Drogheda & District Chamber and is involved in Regional, National & Government committees and strategic work groups and projects focused on leadership, business strategy, sustainable growth, economic development, business & job creation and skills & talent development for the future.

Mr Martin Sisk, Director of Drogheda Port Company
Martin was appointed as a Director in March 2023. He has a Bachelor of Law degree and is a Solicitor by profession. Having previously worked for the Revenue Commissioners, he spent most of his career in Regulation both financial and otherwise as Registrar of Friendly Societies and subsequently as a senior official in the Central Bank of Ireland. He has previously served as Chairperson of VHI Healthcare and is currently Chairperson of the Irish Auditing and Accounting Supervisory Authority ( IAASA).
Dr Cyril Sullivan, Director of Drogheda Port Company
Cyril was appointed as a Director of Drogheda Port Company in March 2023. Cyril is a qualified accountant (FCCA/ACMA) with over 30 years’ experience as a senior executive in both the public and charity sectors. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer at the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA) and he previously held senior positions with the Institute of Public Administration (IPA), the National Roads Authority (NRA) and he was an auditor with the Comptroller and Auditor General’s (C&AG) Office. Cyril has been a Board and Audit Committee member of a number of State agencies - he has finished his second term recently as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee of An Garda Siochana. His expertise is in the areas of governance, financial management, audit and risk. As well as being a qualified accountant, Cyril has a B.Sc in Computer Science (TCD), an M (Econ) Sc in Policy Studies (TCD), an MBA (Smurfit Business School, UCD) and a Doctorate in Governance (Queens University, Belfast).
