Drawda by Aero
DRAWDA FAOIN SPEIR was a curated multidisciplinary public arts programme between the Droichead Arts Centre, Love Drogheda BID and Louth County Council. The initiative was focused on the connection between key figures and moments from our mythological past culminating in a visual and audio Urban Art Trail throughout the Town of Drogheda.
Drogheda Port Company was delighted to sponsor a public space on a port warehouse as a canvas for the work off Steam packet Quay facing onto North Strand. The wonderfully talented French artist known as ‘Aero’ delivered a stunning Mural aptly based on the story of Amergin. This mural is part of a six mural series that now connect the town through a walking route, with our historic sites and their stories and also attracts additional tourism to the area.
