River of Memories
A River of Memories is a magical journey through the history of Drogheda Port and the River Boyne told through music, poetry and interviews from the Drogheda Port sound archives. Michael Holohan was engaged by Drogheda Port Company in the 1990’s as project archivist to catalogue the port historical archives. As part of the process a series of interviews were undertaken with retired port employees, dockers, pilots and others.
From this recorded archive the project A river of memories was born and the CD was produced by Michael Holohan and Breida Delaney in 1999.
