Launch of Online Safety Induction

Drogheda Port Company are very pleased to announce the official launch of our Online Safety Induction.

“We have worked closely with Dulann to develop this online safety induction”, stated Paul Fleming, CE of Drogheda Port Company.  “This system is part of an overall digital compliance system operated in conjunction with Dualnn to assist in making health and safety more accessible and real time to employees and customers”.

The aim of this online safety induction is to provide all who complete it with an understanding of 
•    The health and safety rules at Drogheda Port
•    The minimum mandatory PPE required at Drogheda Port
•    What do in the case of an emergency and how to raise an alarm at Drogheda Port

Chairman of Drogheda Port Company, Mr Gerard Deegan commented “Drogheda Port  Company is paving the way to a new era of digital safety management and compliance.  This new Online Induction is the first of many new exciting developments to come at Drogheda Port”.

Running from 21st to 25th October, Irish Port Safety Week is an initiative of the Irish Port Safety Forum and is supported by the HSA.  Traditionally run in line with European Safety Week, Irish Port Safety Week is now in its 4th year.
